Pilgrimsfärd för rättvis värld (Pilgrimage for Justice) is a new guide for visitors to the holy land. The book has maps, photos, history, and facts for meetings with the Christians in Palestine and Israel – regardless you travel alone or as a group.

Guided by the book you can visit the many churches in Jerusalem, know their history, and take part in their Church Life. Through reportage, the reader gets in touch with the daily life of Christian youth in Palestine, a situation characterized by occupation, violence, and hopelessness. They also share their thought about ways to a just peace.

Several authors in the book highlight international law as the basis for peace and justice. Another theme in the book is ”creation friendly” and ”sustainability” as an important dimension in travel.

The consistent theme in the book is pilgrimage and what it means today. One chapter contains prayers and meditations that can be used during a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

The first edition is in Swedish because there are many Swedes involved in support of the Christian minority in Palestine. Hopefully, the book will also be published in an English edition.
