I extend my best wishes to Your Majesty and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the holy month, as the Christian fast coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, strengthening our unity and our pursuit of goodness together. Thank you for the kind invitation to break the fast at your palace. This is an opportunity to affirm some constants:
First: I thank Your Majesty for your excellent performance as Hashemite Custodian of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
Second: Thank you for all the political, moral, and material support you provide to the Palestinian people, such as food, medicine, and treatment, and for your support of Palestinian school students through the WISE-School e-learning initiative, which is currently used by more than one million Palestinian students, approximately half a million of whom are in the afflicted Gaza Strip. History will remember all of this, and God will add it to the scale of your good deeds.

Third: At a time when the conflict in Palestine is not only political or military, but also ideological and religious, the Catholic Church does not accept the consecration of the land of Palestine in the name of the Jewish people based on the Torah, as Christian Zionism in America claims. The Torah was never a land deed that confirms the land of one people at the expense of another. Rather, it was revealed to support the poor, the needy, and the oppressed, and to establish justice and peace on earth. The people of Palestine will not accept a homeland other than Palestine, even if they are blessed in the paradises of the East and the West.
Finally, the end does not justify the means. It is not permissible to subjugate and starve a people as a means of forcing them into forced migration. This is a crime against humanity. Every human being has the right to live with dignity in a homeland and in a sovereign state.
